How many times do they put on their lights just to go through a red light then put it off.
According to New Jersey Statutes,A police officer must uphold all of the traffic laws.The ONLY thing a police officer may do is exceed the speed limit "with caution" in attempting to cath a law violator.
just this morning i was at bmg irv there was a lpd car giving out tickets corber tenth and clifton for parking too close too the curb
How do I issue a ticket to a cop for making an ilegal u turn on clifton ave to chap a shmooze with another cop??
The problem with giving an officer a ticket is that now the judges don't allow it only after a proable cause hearing-which they always never allow a ticket to be given.
I guess the Judges know that Police officers are flounderers of the laws & they'l always get tickets.

Next time you are trying to cross Clifton Ave on 10th Street and you can actually see traffic coming on Clifton without having to pull all the way into the intersection and risk an accident, you should probably thank the LPD for writing those tickets.
The Shaimos trucks were blocking the view at 7th & Forest Ave among other locations. It almost caused numerous accidents.
LPD was asked to have the trucks removed (last year as well) to no avail.
After so many days you couldn't come with some more pitures, episodes etc?
According to the MUTCD which is the Federal manual on Traffic Control Devices which was addopted by the NJDOT & by NJ Statute.
Yet there are many items that Lakewood Township is not in compliance & they even hand out ilegal summonses.
The police are not the only ones going through red lights with their lights on and neither are they the only ones who make u turns
